Picasso and Bullfighting

There is really no point in explaining how great Picasso’s paintings are.
It is almost a fact that he was absolutely brilliant – I hardly think anyone would doubt that.

What I love in these bullfighting-themed paintings is how expressive and lively they are, apart from the one in the middle. I was quite interested in that one as, being a Picasso, it is so different from the other ones.

In my opinion, the painting in the middle shows a very cold and distant reality, opposed to what we see in the coloured paintings, where there seems to be quite a lot of physical contact and proximity between men, horses and bulls.
